Growing up on the family farm just outside of Cardston, AB, Dr. Walburger knew he wanted to work with his hands, so he started his first dental career as a denturist. The surgical aspect of replacing missing teeth with implant-supported dentures was fascinating to him, so he went back to school to become a dentist, pursuing his Bachelor of Science from Lethbridge University and then earning his doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
As a Lethbridge dentist, Dr. Walburger looks at the mouth as a whole – as a reflection of your oral and overall health and with an eye to how he can address your concerns and desires. Getting to know you and your individual needs is Dr. Walburger’s priority so he can not only create the healthy smile you want, but also tailor your dental experience to meet your individual needs.
Dr. Walburger and his wife and three children love living in southern Alberta. It’s a great place to be active in a variety of indoor and outdoor pursuits. The kids enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, and football as well as playing piano and creating beautiful art. Dr. Walburger loves to tinker and always has a project on the go. Some of his hobbies include riding motorcycles and boating in the summer. In winter he enjoys snowmobiling and playing with the kids and the family dog – a French bulldog named Gus.
